Since falling in love with India in his teens, Matthew Swabey determined to make India a constant part of his life.  

After living there for 10 years buying for one of the first London retailers to bring the craft and beauty of Indian arts to a then emerging Notting Hill client base. He then set up his own business in 1999, and has continued to make several trips a year to collect unique items and explore the vibrant and beautiful country.

Now based in the village of Martley, near Malvern in Worcestershire surrounded by gorgeous countryside, the warehouse is a secret horde of the unexpected and the beautiful.

His love of India, its people, its fabulous colours and the endless richness of the culture and nature that have inspired its artisans for centuries, are the essence of what makes a visit to Mr Matthew an unforgettable and enjoyable experience.
